You might be more familiar with the side of him that enjoys a friendly bickering, yes. But you cannot deny I'm more familiar with the side of him that exposes his romantic feelings for someone. I know what he is like when he loves someone far more than just a friend. It is not my place to speak of his feelings, but there's a certain charm in the way he speaks of you sometimes. You undervalue yourself too much.

Had I, for example, relied on you alone to act on whatever feelings and desires you bear towards me, I doubt we would speak nearly as much as we do, our friendship and comaraderie beside. We are long-lived species. Yingxing is not. If you would rather shoulder alone the weight of regret, be my guest. You may drive yourself to ruin if you so wish. But don't be so selfish to deny Yingxing a happy life. It's the least we could do.
